Software to link your iPad with your Windows laptop
"I just finished teaching my PD unit. I shared with my staff how to set up their
iPads that we were just issued to control their laptops. This way, teachers can
walk around the classroom while teaching their SmartBoard lesson or teaching a
PowerPoint, or anything else. It works great in my classroom in particular
because I have many students who need close proximity during instruction to stay
on task and focused, so this helps me check in with them often but continue to
teach! If anyone else is interested, the FREE app is called SplashTop (download
the iPhone one because it's free and works just as well), and then download the
program to the computer you want to control. Once it's all set up and you're
logged in, you simply connect from your iPad!"

Post it notes-
http://en.linoit.com/ this site could be used to allow students to respond by posting notes on a board when they find the answer. My teacher had it embedded in her website and people could post notes when they respond.
